Xcalak Paradise Fly Fishing Lodge is built on years of experience in some of the wildest fly fishing environments in South America. From the legendary waters of Patagonia to the remote landscapes of the high Andes, that background now comes together in our own lodge operation in Mexico.

We are anglers first, lodge operators second. Our approach is shaped by time on the water, not by mass tourism or standardized packages. We understand that a great fly fishing trip is defined by far more than numbers: it’s about the quality of the fishery, knowledgeable guides, smooth logistics, and an environment that still feels genuine.

Xcalak offers exactly that. Pristine flats, untouched mangroves, clear water and remarkably low fishing pressure create a setting where bonefish, permit and tarpon are truly wild — and Grand Slam opportunities are real. This is a place where patience, good presentations and reading the water are rewarded.

Fishing is always personalized, with one professional local guide for every two anglers. Each day is adapted to tides, conditions and individual goals, whether you are focused on permit, targeting trophy tarpon or simply looking to experience a world-class flats fishery at its best.
